Best Worst Employee Ever!
I just checked our surf control reports. Apparently I'm the number 1 internet user in our building. I've generated 68,596 hits since August 10th. I next guy has 24,479 hits. Scott has 12,873. It's pretty bad. Basically, if you were to print out a report that has every site I've been to in the past month, it would be 60 pages long.
I think I Should get some type of an award for this. I'm one of the most productive people in our office, and I surf the internet more than the next 3 people combined!
I'm already working on my response for when I get called out on this:
1. What's a hit?
2. Oh yeah, the internet has been really good lately.
3. Have you seen those George Bush Gnomes on Ebay?
4. Research man, Research.
I'm really not worried about it. In fact I'm kinda proud. Aside from the free coffee, the internet is the only real perk I use here. I don't take smoke breaks every 30 minutes; I don't hang around the break room for hours on end. I just sit at my cube all day. And if I have to surf the internet like a fiend to help me get through the phone con from hell, so be it.
I wonder how many hits I generated writing this?
