It's a Show about Nothing

For years I've thought that I don't dream at all. While other people have these elaborate tales that come from the dream life, I've got nothing.

After reflecting on it, I've come to the conclusion that I do have dream at night. The content? My dreams are about nothing. My dreams are full of Swingline Stapplers and Timesheets. I have the Seinfeld of dreams. I dreamt last week that I went to work. I had a meeting. I can picture the George Castanza in my brain pitching the idea for these dreams.

"It's a dream about nothing. What did you do today?"

"I drove to work. Answered some emails. Attended a few meetings."

"That's a dream!"

And the big Dream Exec. is sitting there saying "A dream about nothing? Who'd want to watch that?" But apparently George is pretty persuasive, cause in the end, that's what's on.
