Planning a trip to OKC

I'm off to Oklahoma City next week for ISI. We'll be planning a brand new project. To mark this momentous occasion, I just bought 2 new Italian suits. What's happening to me?

After a long day at work, I went home to do nothing. I watched a lot of TiVo. I'm resting up for the long four day weekend. I've got tickets for the last pre season game: Jacksonville vs Washington. We sitting in Section 433C, Row DD, Seats 8-12. This picture is from that section. Should be pretty fun. Okay, back to TiVo.

Scotts Birthday, Ride to St Aug and Jax Beach

DSC00061.jpg DSC00429.JPG DSC00398.JPG

Today we celebrated Scott's birthday. This was also the first time we had my Honda 919, Scotts Ducati Moster S4, and Dad's new ST 3100 on the road together. It was so much fun. We rode from Green Cove Springs to St. Augustine, up A1A to Jax Beach, and them 95 back to Green Cove.

I enjoyed riding when my Dad and brother. Plus the weather was beautiful today. It was only 83 at the beach.

Saturday Morning Trip to 11E

Day 2 of really long weekend before school:

My parents are watching our kids this weekend, so Michele and I had a bunch of free time. We rode out to Scott's this morning, but he was sleeping, so we had to turn around and go home. This is the risk you run with the unannounced pop in.

After riding the bike for a few hours, I think I need this Corbin custom seat.

This is my Dad's new Honda ST 1300. We went for a long ride this afternoon around Orange Park on a mission. It was a great way to spend a Friday off work. My arms are now red sunburned. It was a hot day today. I need a jacket. Click here, more pics

Baseball is awesome

On the way to ISI this morning, my bike rolled over to 1300.

Tonight starts a three day weekend for me. I left work early. I just couldn't wait for the weekend to start. It was just one of those weeks. I'm going to start of the weekend at a Jacksonville Suns game. This weekend is huge, because it's the last weekend before the FALL 2003 Semester Starts at FSU.

Ducati Monster S4 vs. Honda 919 : Cecil Field

DSC00336.jpg DSC00327.jpg DSC00320.JPG
Scott came by after dinner with his new Ducati Monster S4. We went out and tore up Cecil Field, a closed military base. This is the first time I've been able to ride Scotts bike and get it out of first gear, and I must say it was awesome. Although the numbers are similar to my bike, you can tell that this bike was made for one thing and one thing only: racing.

While the Ducati was really fun to ride, I was glad to ride my 919 again. Its easier for me to ride, and is very smooth at low RPMS.

On the Ducati, I was constantly shifting to keep the bike at its sweet spot: about 3k RPMs. Scotts bike really wore me out. Thats the only disadvantage to all that power and tight transmission.

It was great to take the bikes out to Cecil Field, around all the abandoned military buildings and open roads. Im hoping to take the bikes out to the beach this weekend.
