From Radio Shack's "CoCo" to the Commodore 64, this photo gallery has some cool pictures of old computers.

The first computer I ever used was a Radio Shack TRS-80.

Scientology Orientation Video on YouTube!

Here's video of a cam that was snuck into a Scientology orientation session.

Best line: "you can leave and never mention scientology again, that is your choice, it would be stupid, but it is your choice. You could also choose to jump off a bridge, or blow your brains out..."

I just landed in Oklahoma City. I have a few meetings planned this week. Nothing too major. Basically the plan is to spend some time with the customer and verify that we're capturing all the requirements. I fly back on Thursday morning.

I just took and passed the Motorcycle Safety Course. When I get back from OKC, I'll finally be able to add the motorcycle endorsement to my driver’s license. I really wish I took this class sooner. I really learned a lot, and I think I'll have a lot more fun on my bike because of it.

Digg 3 To Launch Monday: Exclusive Screenshots and Stats

"Digg 3.0 will launch Monday, June 26, in the morning PST. The launch is being announced this evening, and Digg has made a number of screen shots available to me which are included in this post." I'm really excited about this. I spend an embarrassing amount of time on digg.com each day. What I really love about it is the ability to see what my friends find interesting. I have an rss feed of the articles they digg. It's the socal aspect of it that makes it the site very compeling for me.

I've said it before. The content on youtube is probably better than most stuff you find on regular tv. Check out want happens with this kitten attacks a new mac book pro running Front Row.

I stayed up really late playing mario kart ds on the internet. The ds saw my open access point, and allowed to me quickly connect. The wireless features work great on this thing. I've also played new super mario bros in the 'mario vs lugi' mode with my son. The kids love to use it to chat. I can't wait until the opera release the ds web browser later this year.

New 'Get A Mac' ads available on Apple's website.

Three new ads have appeared on the Apple website that highlight the advantages of owning a mac compared with a windows PC. The ads are entitled "Out of the Box", "Touché" & "Work vs. Home."

I really liked "Touché" because it talks about dual booting with os x and xp. Making a Mac the only computer you'll need.

General Dynamics - Power for Peace

Check out this vintage General Dynamics ad. It's a pretty weird ad. It features Gandhi and atomic radiation.

This is probably one the most professional looking photo I've ever taken. What's my secret? I take a ton of digital photos with my rebel xt and hope for the best.

New Phone

New Phone
Originally uploaded by sizemoresr.
I recently replaced my Motorolla V710 with a treo 650. It's been a few weeks, and I can safely say that I love this phone. I was a palm user back in 1999, but switched to windows mobile a few years ago. Getting my hands on a new palm powered device felt kinda nice. Since it's Palm OS, it works great with my new iMac.

Right now I've got it syncing a few different google calendars. To do this I subscribed to Michele's and my iCal feed in iCal, then I used isync to copy it to my treo. Now every time I dock my treo, it brings in the latest data from google.

I'm using verizon's wireless sync to push my personal and work email. It's kinda neat getting my email on the go. I'm also using mobile gmail with the included web browser, which works great too.

The form factor of this phone is just right. I thought it would seem a little awkward to hold this thing up to my head, but I was wrong. It's just right. Also the speakerphone and bluetooth support work great.

Thanks again, Scott.

Comcast To Begin Testing HD TiVo?!

According to a thread on AVS forum, Comcast plans on beta testing their HD DVR with TiVo software next month! This could just be a rumor but it sounds legit since the Comcast TiVo deal has been in the open for quite some time now.

I'm currently using a 60hour Series 2 Tivo that I purchased in 2002 with Dish Network on a low-def TV, but this might be what I need to switch back to Comcast and go high def.

Links for ...

Each day I was doing a scheduled post of my del.icio.us links. It was pretty neat, because you could see what I was interested each day, but it kinda took over my blog. If you miss the links, you can go to my del.icio.us account. Expect to see more posts (of the human generated type) and more photos on this site.

Also, Michele and I are planning a complete redesign of sizemoresr.com (our home page). It's long overdue. We planning on having this done by the time we leave for our summer vacation.
